We've been loving the sunshine here in Spokane, and soaking it up by being outdoors as much as possible. This weekend we were blessed with a visit from my family- our house held an additional 6 family members!
In a few short days we squeezed in a trip to Silverwood amusement park, a birthday lunch date with my hubby, "Things" {have you played it!? so fun!}, rounds of my new favorite card game: hand and foot, poolside & splash pad playing, and a sister shopping date, which were all good distractions for us being under the weather.
Sadly, we shared the love & the bug has gone home with my family- they say it was worth it but I'm not sure they'll still feel that way once they wake up tomorrow!

Glad you had a nice time with your family and a special birthday weekend. I love hand and foot. It's been years since I've played, but I remember it being so much fun.
Of course it was worth it. No amount of cold germs could keep this family away from yours. ; ) We had stuff brewing here anyway, who knows what we shared with you!
