Sorry to leave you all hanging with the spider imagery. Here's a bug that is far more my style. He landed right in front of me just as I took of my lens cap, and lingered very briefly, so I felt fortunate to have captured this moment.

We're settled in now in our home in Arlington, and truly feel like we're home {again}. It's such bliss to be surrounded by family, and reconnecting with my west side friends. I'm often cold, but the rain runs in my veins and I will adjust back to it. At least I keep telling myself this.

I've been spending a great deal of time wandering through my mother's garden, as you can see from all the outdoor listings I've been adding to the shop lately! I'm constantly inspired by the shapes, colors, textures, and even the serenity.
