A must read

made you:

I've been on a reading craze..something about having access again to my tiny little hometown library, and of course the cold fall weather. I've been making less new pieces, but I count it into the natural ebb and flow of the creative process. It's so good to get lost in a beautiful story..and keep my mind open to inspiration as well.

My favorite book this season?  The Lost Summer of Louisa May Alcott. Please forgive me if you've already heard my rants about it in person, but seriously, read this. Find a good fire and a cup of tea and tell me when you have because I'll come join you.

I got goosebumps when Kelly announced the new cover today, isn't it lovely? I'll take that dress, and that hair please and thank you.

Any more book recommendations I can add to my ever growing list? I'd love to hear yours!

The Year We Disappeared by John and Cylin Busby was a book I could NOT put down! I wanted it mainly because it was a father-daughter memoir and my daddy is so special to me, but he bought it for me and I read it in 2 days. Only put it down to sleep! :) It's just a really interesting story.

I just got your recommendation here from the library the other day. Hoping to start it tonight! And - I love the new cover, too. :)

Have you finished it yet Kimi? Do/did you love it!?

this is going on my amazon wish list...exactly the kind of book I love to get lost in...thanks for the recommendation! [I recently read Mariana by Monica Dickens...I highly recommend]

Thank you for the recommendation- I've added it to my to-read list!
